The family of Alex Sullivan would like to thank you for your love and support. Alex lost his life on his 27th birthday, one of the 10 victims who died inside an Aurora, Colorado movie theatre. He was a beloved husband, son, grandson and friend. Alex was known as a gentle giant; he always had a glowing smile and he made friends with everyone. He was an avid comic book geek, loved going to the movies and was a huge New York Mets fan.
In the face of such tragedy, the Sullivan family has experienced amazing support and generosity from too many people to count. The Sullivan family, friends and colleagues have been inundated with calls from kindhearted people asking how they can show their support, with a large number of requests to set up a fund in memory of Alex. In response to the outpouring of love for Alex, the Alex Sullivan Fund has been created. Proceeds from this fund will go to support the Sullivan family and to the We Can Be Heroes charity, (wecanbeheroes.org).
As Alex's sister, Megan, said in the wake of their loss, "Alex was our real life super hero".
